Community food drives keep the Food Bank shelves stocked year round. Throughout the year, the community of Rochester holds many food drives that benefit the ROOF Food Bank.
The first Saturday in December is Walk-N-Knock, sponsored by the Rochester Lions Club. During this food drive, members of the community go door to door collecting food items for the food bank, and will come to your home to pick up food.
During the school year, the Rochester Schools hold Class Competitions Food Drives to see who can collect the most food for the Food Bank. While these school food drives are being held, food items can be dropped off in the offices of participating schools. Watch school bulletins and newsletters to find out when these food drives are held each year.
Please, support these food drives and help us keep the Food Bank shelves stocked. If your group or business is interested in holding a food drive, please contact ROOF at 360-273-6375.
